Yvette Malavet-Blum and Al Koll
”Songs of the Seasons … When the Sun Comes Out”
Yvette Malavet-Blum regularly performs in venues in New York City and Long Island. In 1999, she received outstanding reviews for her performance as a cast member of the Sal St. George Production company’s “The1939 World’s Fair,” at the Vanderbilt Mansion. Ever since then, she has been writing, producing and performing cabaret shows that have been well received. For information about Yvette see www.yvettemalavet.com.
When Yvette returns to Montauk Library on Sunday September 29, she will be accompanied by Al Koll, an outstanding pianist who has toured the world as part of the opening act for artists such as Jimi Hendrix,Chicago, Blood, Sweat and Tears, The Doors, Janis Joplin, Sly and the Family Stone, and others. Currently he is Artist-in-Residence and principal accompanist for the Shoreham Wading River CSD, he is attached to the A.G. Prodell Middle School.
Yvette and Al have been performing as a duo since 2020.
