The Montauk Boatmen and Captains Association (MBCA) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to protecting Montauk's fishing industry and preserving its rich maritime heritage. Founded in 1965, the MBCA represents party and charter boat captains, commercial fishermen, recreational anglers, marinas, and other supporters who advocate for sustainable fishing practices, fair regulations, and long-term access to local fisheries. Through education, advocacy, and collaboration, the MBCA works to ensure a strong and thriving fishing community for future generations.
